This style was issued for institutional work assignments and daily prison use during the CDCR era following the department’s 2005 transition from CDC to CDCR.
Unlike many surviving examples that were heavily washed or repaired during service, this jacket retains strong color throughout the denim while displaying authentic signs of institutional wear.
