Manufactured by an incarcerated individual for close-quarters combat within a correctional facility.

Description

Improvised prison weapon constructed from a shaped steel shaft with a symmetrical spear-point tip and longitudinal grooves running along the blade. The lower portion is wrapped in cloth secured with thread to form a grip. The steel surface exhibits wear, oxidation, and discoloration consistent with improvised manufacture and use. The pointed blade and wrapped handle reflect construction intended to improve grip and handling.
