Manufactured by an incarcerated individual for close-quarters combat within a correctional facility.

Description

Improvised prison weapon constructed from a cylindrical steel rod sharpened to a tapered point. The lower portion is built up with multiple layers of light-colored tape to form an enlarged grip and secure the rod in place. The steel shows extensive corrosion and oxidation, while the taped handle is heavily worn and discolored.
