The Škorpion vz. 61 has long been associated with the European criminal underworld, where its compact size and concealability made it a favored weapon among organized crime groups. It has appeared in numerous gangland shootings and criminal investigations across Europe. The machine pistol is associated with our book HEAVYWEIGHT, which examines the use of military-style firearms within Dutch organized crime.
