Association

Worn by a Russian Wagner Group mercenary on field equipment during combat operations in the Battle of Bakhmut (2023).

Description

Original Wagner Group morale patch depicting a skeleton wearing a combat helmet, smoking a cigar while playing a violin. The upper inscription reads "Курим, Пляшем" ("We smoke. We party."), while the lower inscription reads "Ебашим", a vulgar Russian expression meaning "We hit hard" or "We fuck shit up." The violin references Wagner's enduring "musicians" identity—derived from the surname of composer Richard Wagner and reflected in the organization's nickname, "the orchestra." The slogan combines dark humor with aggressive military bravado, characteristic of Wagner's internal morale culture. This example remains in excellent condition, exhibiting only light operational wear and accumulated dirt consistent with field use.
