Association

Official Libyan state-gifted watch associated with the government of Muammar Gaddafi, produced as a presentation or commemorative object rather than a standard retail piece. Such personalized watches formed part of the wider culture of diplomatic gifts, official presentation items, and leader-branded memorabilia distributed during the Gaddafi period.

Description

Official state-gifted Felca women’s wristwatch, Swiss made and finished in gold plate, featuring a portrait of Muammar Gaddafi wearing sunglasses printed on the dial. The watch has a champagne-gold face with four clear stone hour markers at the cardinal positions, slim gold hands, and an integrated gold-plated bracelet.

The restrained design contrasts with the highly personalized political dial, making it a distinctive example of Libyan state presentation material from the Gaddafi era. The watch remains in mint condition, with no visible wear and a well-preserved finish.
