Description

Original Wagner Group commemorative morale patch marking the capture of Bakhmut on 20.05.2023. The design features Wagner's iconic skull within a red crosshair superimposed over a red silhouette of the city of Bakhmut, with stitched white lines indicating the principal assault axes used during the battle. The inscription "Бахмут Артёмовск" references both the Ukrainian name Bakhmut and the Soviet-era name Artyomovsk, reflecting the terminology commonly used by Russian forces. Dated 20.05.2023, the patch commemorates Wagner's declaration of victory following the conclusion of the months-long Battle of Bakhmut, one of the bloodiest engagements of the Russo-Ukrainian War. Produced in limited numbers, this commemorative design was intended to celebrate Wagner's most significant battlefield achievement.
