Worn by PMC Wagner members of the 13th Assault Unit and associated with Wagner's early operations in Syria. The emblem later continued to sporadically appear on the equipment of veteran Wagner personnel in Ukraine as a reference to prior service in the Syrian campaign.

Description

Original molded rubber Wagner Group insignia featuring a skull wearing a modern combat helmet fitted with dual night-vision goggles, set within a diamond-shaped frame flanked by the letters "W" and "G," representing Wagner Group. A violin crossed with a scoped AK-pattern rifle is depicted beneath the skull, symbolizing the group's enduring "musicians" identity—derived from the surname of Richard Wagner and reflected in the organization's nickname, "the orchestra." Produced as a durable three-dimensional molded patch rather than embroidered, this early-design insignia is closely associated with Wagner's Syrian deployments before later being worn by veterans during the war in Ukraine. This example remains in excellent condition despite heavy accumulated dirt and operational soiling consistent with prolonged field use.
