Rudy Treviño III, a Hispanic inmate incarcerated within the Idaho prison system. Treviño, a former U.S. Army serviceman (GI), spent approximately 20 years in prison.

Description

Hand-drawn prison paño executed in ink on cotton fabric featuring the inscription "Thin Line Between Love & Hate." The composition depicts a bald Chicano male wearing dark sunglasses and a plaid flannel shirt while holding a beer bottle bearing the reflection of the woman in front of him. Opposite him stands the woman in a crop top concealing a semi-automatic pistol behind her back. The background further incorporates a grim reaper, several demonic faces, and additional ornamental imagery surrounding the central figures.
