Original business card belonging to Varrio Dog Town gang member Leonard Lopez, most likely dating to the late 1980s. The card is printed with "Dogtown Locos," reflecting the gang's identity and neighborhood affiliation. Personal business cards such as these were occasionally produced by gang members during the 1980s and 1990s as informal calling cards, often displaying nicknames, contact information, or neighborhood references. Varrio Dog Town, also known as Dog Town Rifa, is widely regarded by gang historians as one of the oldest continuously active street gang neighborhoods in Los Angeles County, with roots tracing back to the 1890s around the William Mead Homes and Downtown Los Angeles.
