Original Wagner Group morale patch featuring a human skull flanked by two mortar rounds, surrounded by the English inscriptions "REVERSE SIDE OF THE MEDAL" and "STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF." Executed in Wagner's characteristic black-and-red color scheme, this design represents one of the organization's earlier morale emblems and was documented on uniforms, equipment, and as a watermark on Wagner-produced photographs and media from deployments in Syria, Libya, the Central African Republic, and other African theaters prior to the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. This example exhibits extensive battlefield wear, including severe burn damage, soot deposits, frayed embroidery, and heat deformation that partially obscures the central motif and surrounding inscription.
